Stoneware Autumn Pumpkin Workshop 10-3pm Oct 19th (Mixed Ability)

This is an opportunity to have a whole day on this pumpkin clay project for the garden. Having this extended time allows for a pottery project made out of a coarse stoneware clay, adding details and colour.  You will be shown a demonstration of how to make your pumpkin and decorate it.  This clay and firing will be more suitable for the garden as it has more chance of surviving frost and is more durable. They will be finished with slips and later oxides if desired. 

We will have examples of pumpkins to work from but if you already have something in mind this is the perfect opportunity to work on it. This will be a guided workshop with assistance in your project if you need help so is suitable for beginners. 

You will be given an allowance of clay for the project so can make 1-3 pumpkins. The pieces will be fired and glazed and ready for collection in two weeks
