Donna Bloye Pottery Workshop Saturday 12th April 10-4pm

An exciting opportunity to work alongside Donna the winner of the 2024 Pottery Throw Down. Donna will be delivering this whole day workshop and will demonstrate mono printing, screen printing and the application of special underglazes to a beautiful white stoneware clay. 

Participants will not only gain hands-on experience with various printing techniques but also have the chance to create their own unique pieces in the afternoon. The structured approach, starting with demonstrations and moving into practical application, ensures that everyone can develop their skills effectively.

We will then break for lunch enabling the clay to dry to a workable consistency.

The afternoon session will enable you to work with the slabs of clay to construct a three dimensional piece and/or a press moulded piece. The piece may have more decoration added and then fettled ready for firing. 

These pieces will be fired to Stoneware with as little or as much glazing as desired.
