Claytime 27th July 10 - 3pm : Stoneware Garden Ceramics (Class members only)

This is an opportunity to have a whole day on an extended project for the garden of your choice. Having this extended time allows for a larger project or up to three small pieces made out of a coarse stoneware clay. This clay and firing will be more suitable for the garden as it has more chance of surviving frost and is more durable. They will be finished with slips and later oxides if desired. 

We will have examples of projects to work on but if you already have something in mind this is the perfect opportunity. Examples are:

Bird Bath

Bird Feeder

Seedpods

There will be two tutors to assist in your project
